Last year I took Elena Krymina sketch class. That was awesome. I love nutcrackers, so decided to make a fabric postcard with paint and thread.

In the middle of March we drove to Santa Maria and were fascinated by blooming hills. All of them from Goleta to Gaviota were covered by yellow coleseed flowers. On our way back we saw a huge yellow field. It was stunning. I was impressed by this beauty and drew a fast sketch in my traveljournal Almost a month after that my new fabric postcard was born.

To be honest I was not satisfied with the result and decided to make another postcard. Do you see the difference?

I love all seasons, but fall is the most colorful time of the year for me. Unfortunately, there are no seasons in south California, so I miss fall, spring and winter a lot. That is why I decided to make fall themed postcards to cheer me up. I called this collection “Fairytail Autumn”.
